OK, it's your money and someone else has it, but getting angry about it probably won't help.

Hostile letters simply put your debtor offside, and can make them more evasive.

Overdue account notices should be written in such a way as to encourage your debtor to communicate with you, and come to some sort of payment arrangement if payment in full is not possible at the present time.  

This can work wonders as it allows your debtor to save face and can often preserve your relationship.

Lets face it, most businesses have ups and downs, and the debtor that is overdue this month may still be a good customer in the future.
